། རྒྱལ་བ་ཀུན་གིུ་ཡེ་ཤིས་སྒྱུ་མ་ཡི།
**GYAL WA KUN GYI YE SHE GYU MA YI**
From the illusory primordial wisdom of all Victorious Ones,
*Từ trí tuệ nguyên sơ huyễn hoặc của Đấng Chiến Thắng*

།ཆོ་འཕུལ་རྣལ་པར་འཕུལ་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི།
**CHO THRUL NAM PAR THRUL PA LAY JUNG WA’I**
You arise as the miraculous magical display.
*Ngài khởi sinh như màn ảo thuật kỳ diệu*

།ལྷ་མོ་གང་གིས་བསྒྲུབས་པའི་ནད་གདོནབགེགས།
**LHA MO GANG GI DRUB PA’I NED DON GEG**
Awakened Goddess, the sickness, malevolent spirits and hindrances of all beings who rely on you,
*Nữ Thần tỉnh giác, bệnh tật, các tinh linh độc ác và các che chướng của những chúng sinh nương dựa nơi Ngài*

།ཀུན་ཏུ་ཞི་མཛད་མ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།།
**KUN TU ZHI DZED MA LA CHAG TSAL LO**
You pacify completely. Homage!

**OM PISHATSI PARNA SHAWARI SARWA DZO LA PRA SHA MA NA YE SOHA**

By this virtue, may I swiftly

Accomplish the state of The Mother Draped in Leaves (Parnasavari),

**DRO WA CHIG-KYANG MA LU PA**
And may I establish all beings without a single exception

དི་ཡི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག།། །།

Lama Khyenno - Calling The Guru From Afar

༄༅།།བླ་མ་རྒྱང་འབོད་ཀྱི་གསོལ་འདེབས་མོས་གུས་སྙིང་གི་གཟེར་འདེབས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ།།
ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་བེ། བླ་མ་རྒྱང་འབོད་ཀུན་ལ་གྲགས་ཆེའང་། བྱིན་བརླབས་བསྐུལ་བའི་གནད་སྐྱོ་ཤས་དང་ངེས་འབྱུང་གིས་བསྐུལ་བའི་མོས་གུས་ཁ་ཙམ་ཚིག་ཙམ་མ་ཡིན་པར་སྙིང་གི་དཀྱིལ། རུས་པའི་གཏིང་ནས་བསྐྱེད། བླ་མ་ལས་ལྷག་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་གཞན་ན་མེད་པར་ཐག་ཆོད་པའི་ངེས་ཤེས་དང་ལྡན་པས་དབྱངས་རྟ་སྙན་པོས།།

This practice of Calling the Gurus From Afar is well known to everyone. The key to invoking the blessings is devotion inspired by disenchantment and renunciation. Therefore, giving rise to devotion that is not mere lip service but is felt from the depths of one’s heart, from the core of one’s bones, and with the decisive certainty that there is no other buddha who is greater than the guru, we should recite the following with a melodious tune.

Nam mô Gurube. Gọi Thầy Từ Chốn Xa là bài tụng mọi người đều biết. Then chốt để thỉnh lực gia trì là tâm hướng đạo sư phát xuất từ lòng chân thành sám hối lối cũ, buông xả sinh tử luân hồi. Tâm hướng đạo sư này không chỉ là lời nói đầu môi mà phải phát xuất từ tận đáy lòng, từ trong xương tủy, với niềm tin xác quyết rằng ngoài Đạo Sư ra, vốn không có Phật nào khác. Buddha in Suburbia tracks the extraordinary journey of 40 year old Lelung Rinpoche, one of Tibetan Buddhism’s three principal reincarnations, as he sets out to gather the lost teachings of his faith and to attempt a return to his homeland.

For the past seven years, Lelung Rinpoche has been living in Ruislip North London, in the garden shed of one of his students. He runs a dharma or teaching centre locally, attended by British followers. Now a British passport holder, he embarks on a mission to find previous Lelungs’ teachings, and the teachers who hold the key to unlocking their secrets. His odyssey takes him to India, Mongolia and China as he tries to find a way of getting back home to Tibet. He meets some of Tibetan Buddhism’s most senior teachers, including the Tibetan Prime Minister in exile.

Lelung is a young, modern lama, with relationships with many across the globe from teenagers in Rusilip to the Dalai Lama. The film includes an interview with Tibetan Buddhist expert Professor Robert Thurman, father of Uma Thurman. Lelung Rinpoche has a daunting task to complete on his quest to recover lost teachings before they disappear, and to try to take the right steps on his own path towards enlightenment.
